Mammals, Mammals and more Mammals! From Whitetail Deer to Buffalo in an open range setting. The Whitetail Deer were taken both at Brazos Bend State Park near Houston and Choke Canyon State Park near Three Rivers, Texas. Choke Canyon is said to have some of the largest Whitetails in Texas and after several photo trips there I can certainly attest to that fact!. The buffalo and prairie dogs were from photo shoots at the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge near Lawton, Oklahoma.The captive animals are obvious - I haven't been to Africa or Indo-China!
