Color My World is exactly what I think of when I see the
gorgeous blossoms of wildflowers painting their way across the hillsides, pastures and
roadsides. Nature has provided all the canvas, paint and artistic ability to show us
"true art" - in its most simplistic form. The Austin Botanical Garden is an awesome place! Of course,
during late March you can always head to the Hill Country west of the city
and catch tons of Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrush, Indian Blankets and various other
wildflowers. Brazos Bend State Park (about 30 minutes SW of Houston) offers
a marsh and bayou setting where you can find an abundance of water lilies and wetland flowers.
